The olive oil we use to make our 70% dark chocolate with Lemon Olive Oil is made at the De Carlo family mill in Puglia, master oil makers since 1600. Here the olives are lovingly harvested from centuries old olive trees, as in a sacred ritual, and then stone-ground along with organic lemons within a few hours of picking. The result is a soft green elixir, full of the fragrance of this unique land.
Our 70% chocolate is made with rare Amelonado cocoa beans, organically grown by a regenerative cooperative in the rainforest of Virunga National Park, Eastern Congo.
These beautiful ingredients work together to create an ultra smooth and luxurious mouth experience... Rich cocoa notes flow into waves of bright citrus and soft pepper.
